Email us your feedback on info@floorscheduler.com
6. Can I start my schedule in the middle of the week?
Please download the free, 30-day trial before purchasing. The schedule must start on a Monday to preserve the absolute fairness of the schedule.
7. Why are agents scheduled on shut-down holidays?
To preserve the over-all integrity of the schedule. Floor time on shut down holidays is lost to someone anyway. This program prevents any favoritism in that regard. If office policy permits it, floor time on shut down holidays can be optional. To avoid showing the names on shut down holidays there is the option of blanking out those names.
8. What happens if an agent leaves the company?
There are two options. 1. Post that agents floor time on the bulletin board and ask for volunteers. 2. The office manger can simple assign other agents to those time slots. The program has provision for making substitutes.
9. What happens if a new agent is hired?
During that agent's orientation period, he or she could be available to act as a substitute for other agents needing time off until the new schedule is set up or to act as a back up agent on an assigned basis, or simply add the new name and run a new schedule.
10. How do I schedule agents vacations and other days off?
You don't. In order to achieve the absolute fairness this program offers, the schedule is not altered to accommodate time off for individual agents. This is now their responsibility. The following solutions have proved to work very effectively: (1) agents posts notices on the bulletin board of the shifts available for agents looking for more floor time (2) If #1 does not fill the bill, swaps can be arranged or favors called in.
