R.E. Floor SchedulerT is designed for use in offices with 7 to 52 agents. This program is more than just a scheduler calendar; it is a very fair and efficient way of managing floor time.
The program has four primary objectives:
- To treat all agents with absolute fairness in shift assignments and avoid even the appearance of favoritism.
- To free the secretary or office manger from the constant hassle of complying with demands from agents for schedule changes.
- To prevent agents being forced to accommodate changes made by other agents.
- Eliminate the need to prepare monthly schedules manually
Unique feature. In order to achieve these objectives the resulting schedules are made to be equal in weeks to the number of agents doing floor time; 20 agents equals a 20-week schedule, etc. This unique feature allows for long range planning for your agents. Each agent will have one and only one turn at each time slot in the schedule. Each agent will have the first shift on Monday and the last shift on Friday etc. once and only once. The program comes with a simple set of rules that assures its success and complete documentation...
Agent's responsibility. This method of managing floor time is based on the premise that if agents are going to enjoy the benefits of floor time they should take responsibility for covering their assigned shifts. If an agent needs a week off in the middle of the schedule, instead of asking the secretary to change the schedule and move other people around, that agent can post a notice of available floor time or arrange for a swap. This works very effectively to cover unwanted shifts.
